    Biography

    Zhaohe Yuan, PhD is a professor in Nanjing Forestry University, China. He is a former chairman of the Working Group Pomegranate and Minor Mediterranean Fruits of the ISHS from 2013 to 2022 and mainly engages in research on tree fruit germplasm and genetic breeding, molecular biology, and genomics.

    Julian Bartual, Agronomist (UPV), Dr. Plant Production and Biotechnology (UMH), currently director of the Agricultural Experiment Station of Elche, Spain (EEA Elx-GVA) and Researcher Ass. Ext. (CIAGRO-UMH, Alicante). Researcher and extensionist on issues related to pomegranate, breeder of pomegranate varieties belonging to the Valencian Research Institute (IVIA-GVA).
